Saturday was glorious. 70 degrees and sunny. Cool in the shade and warm in the sun. The kind of day 9 days out of ten this time of year usually are, but one day out of ten has been this year.
It snowed and stuck yesterday, early accumulating snow, poor trees. Mi nimal damage in my yard, but lots of lines down and power outages. Sun came out today and the mixture of sun and snow and fall green was beautiful. All melted today.
At 40' wide I could have gone two 16' double doors and four full stalls, but I went for aesthetics with three 9' doors, and a walled off, dedicated shop area.
Will I regret this decision? Only time will tell.

Looki ng good already.
I like the idea of the three doors and a walled off section so more than two wider doors.

I can tell you that you goofed already by putting the bays too close together. How are you supposed to work on a car in one bay if there’s a car 3 feet away next to it? Can’t get a jack in there, trying to use a creeper you’ll end up under the other car, can’t open the door all the way for interior work.

I understand what you are saying, but there is a plan. First t wo bays are for the daily drivers, they just park, 22' wide internally . Third stall is the shop, 16' wide inside, maybe would have been better to centrally locate the door to the shop, but there were trees and yard and to consider. Plus I mostly work in little old foreign sportscars, think MG, Healey and Triumph, footprint is pretty small, and narrow.
